I doubt there are many on these forums - even professional designers - that utilize AI in their renderings. Most are devised with existing design software which requires (or should) traditional landscape design concepts as well as climate appropriate plants. That's why location is important to know.

I think there is a tendency for some to rely on AI as some sort of magic process that can be applied at will for amazing results. It has not progressed far enough in this direction for that to be at all realistic or even practical.

You mean the unicorns and everblooming plants aren't real? :(

Who is using AI on this forum?

What are they wanting, there are so many choices? A place for the kids to play with very little maintenance? A cottage garden? More privacy, or something to frame the house?

More privacy and something to frame house. They had shrubs here before but it was so outdated they ripped them out. She is thinking hydrangeas and some black eyed Susans- thinking of more ideas

Go to the garden center where the house is take the pic of the house with you. You will et lots of info no AI needed and begin by telling them what you want from the plants Right now I see dead grass and clutter on the side of the house and IMO a lot going on on the house , maybe all one color for the siding and the trim simple is IMO a better backdrop than too much else when landscaping

I tried a free AI design application and was never able to work with it even though I'm able to use AI for other things I do.

Can't suggest any specific plants but the house is very colourful so I would opt for white blooms. I've introduced some black for sharpness and make a few things stand out such as 2 pendant lights, the metal railing, flower pot and flower boxes. Plantings that would hang over the retaining wall would look nice as well as a flower bed on both sided of the walkway.
