The pic you show is a panoramic and does not give us the best picture. Please draw up a floor plan with all dimensions for starters. Put into place what can and cannot be moved and what dimension of what you would like to include.

I would find a large outdoor area rug and center it on the fireplace, create a seating arrangement for conversation, usung the fireplace as the focal point.

I'd divide the spaces into what you need... the cooking area, and dining easy access for carrying food. a nice long credenza/storage with countertop buffet space alonf the wall of the house.

You might consider doing sections. So in front of the fireplace maybe place some seating, then behind that a dining table, then to the left you could do another conversation area and behind that an area to cook/prep. Here are some visuals from a few of the designs we have done for our clients.
