You need a far better way of hiding/ keeping track, locking up of the KEY to each bedroom, with the normal privacy lock.

If you need to use five? Use five.....

Hide the combination......

If not already tried, perhaps the Autism Society and/or a parent support group might be helpful.

I don't know why you specify no wifi, but my son uses these for a very similar reason.

I'm from the keep it simple - and you will need to remember to put the key BACK in the box as you enter each bedroom.

Not sure why every bedroom needs a lock but how old is the child ? If he is an adult then IMO only needs a lock to keep him from wandering at night from his room . Maybe a good idea to contact the autism society for proper info.

Hi, maybe I was to short with my answer. Go to the front door and look at the lock. The key part is on the outside and the inside has a device to lock and unlock the door (no Key)

Locks have what is called a back set which is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the hole for the knobs. Interior doors are 2 3/8 inch If you want an exterior door Lock, mount the key side inside the bedroom. You can unlock it from outside without a key. I would use a Quickset privacy lock set with the locking side outside. no hunting for keys
