Thanks Jilly, the room is modern, house super modern (pic attached). Have older kids so no material restrictions. The dining room will be showing from the outside (that big large glass room on the left)

What chairs do you have paired the the table now?

I do love the table and don't mind seeing a few vintage pieces juxtaposed with modern. Makes things interesting, IMO, and helps to keep modern from verging into sterile & showroom. Adds warmth.

Depends on your decor plans for the room, but I think modern/classic would be a good choice to transform the table and the lighting choice will have a big effect as well.
