Wow, lucky you! Hopefully Kate or Annie will see this soon and advise you. I had a massive peach harvest one year and wished I had a dehydrator. I didn’t even think to look into using the oven or air drying. I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed so I was quick to give them to friends, family, neighbors, and a small local food pantry.

Yeah after I posted this I broke down and bought a dehydrator on Amazon, it should come tomorrow!

I do wonder if I'm supposed to brush them with a sugar glaze before I dehydrate them or not

I did a search and went with what seemed like a reputable site, and it had the most 5-star ratings: Dehydrating apricots

I'm late, so it's probably already done, but lucky you with all those apricots. They are one of my favorite fruits.

I give my fruit a dunk in water with a couple of Vitamin C tablets crushed up and dissolved in the water, cheaper than Fruit Fresh and works the same, although there will still be some darkening.

If you want them a little sweeter, use the directions that PM posted and soak the halves in the sugar solution before drying.
