Hello all,

In our living room, we are trying to achieve a wood paneled wall with a console / book case seamless combo. TV is 77 inch, don’t want it to feel boxed in with shelves all around so thinking about just one side.

We don’t have the time or skill for DIY so are looking for advice on affordable solutions:

1. Get contractor to build - TBD on material that will be sourced and the quality

2. Get closet maker to build - he sent plans below, doesn’t have the paneling we are looking for but will roughly be 4K (labor and materials)

3. Buy IKea Besta or some other purchasable shelves / console and try to make it work in the space

Any thoughts on the most affordable way to go that still provides a polished and classy look? Thank you so much
