What is the rest of the room, what else is IN the room? What is the wall color.......the rug if any. Is there a dresser, and if so? What is that. What size side table? Small at 18 inches, or you have room for 30 inches?!

We have no clue. Post a picture of the room.....the size of the wall on which the bed will sit. What does the room look like?? Do you need a drawer or drawers or just a spot to set a lamp and bottle of water?

Jan and Patricia are right. We do need more context. I'm going to go out on a limb though and suggest that minimal corbel shelf nightstands might go well with your bed.

With that bed I would consider floating nightstands.

Please give more info or post a picture of the room and what else you plan on having in it.

Are you doing a quiet, tranquil room? Then find something that is in the same color / tone of the bed so they blend. If you like a little oomph in the space then go with a darker / contrasting stain or an interesting paint color.

I would also keep it one finish since the headboard has a great design to it.

I’m going for a tranquil vibe. The bed will sit below a window. Wall colors SW Natural Linen. Nightstands on each side of the bed.The bed will have a white wash like the dining set attached. I’m thinking of adding wallpaper to one of the walls.

These lamps will be on each side wall.

IMO the whole color scheme for a bedroom is driven by the bedding and the bed . The wallpaper and wall color chosen last . As for night stands with that bed I would do wall hung and simple .The vibe you show required a very different bed,

Really IMO you already have vertical ribbing on the headboard to add another 2 pieces with more will look like you tried to match and missed . I think a simple horizontal wall hung bedside table in a colot to match the bed or maybe black would be my choice if black then the bedding need a bit of black .
