We are almost done remodeling my father in laws apartment. The walls are SW Greek Villa and the Cabinets in the kitchen are a dark olive green. The counters are white with gold veining. Floors are a very light wood. Hardware and overhead oven fan in the kitchen is black. I have no idea what color rug would look best for the living room (which is attached to the kitchen). Do I need to pull the green into the rug or the black? I'm not one for overly matching things, but some cohesion is what im looking for. Please no suggestions on changing anything. Everything has to remain the same, just need rugs!! A runner for in the kitchen and an area rug for the attached living room. Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated!
