You don't need anything there: in fact in my opinion anything more on that wall would clutter up the space. The wall looks great as it is. You might consider lamps on the ends of the cabinet under the TV to bring the weight down to person level a bit.

I agree with Y Martin. Sometimes less is more. Leave as is.

I don't think you need to do anything, honestly. Not every space needs to be filled. Instead of struggling, think about finding a few unique pieces over time--original art work, sculplture, handcrafted or vintage beautiful items, antique books in subject sthat interest you stacked on the coffee table and console.

Don't over think the space. Your instincts are correct that small framed pieces will have no impact. I like that you chose wood for the console cabinet. It brings warmth to a room with a lot of neutrals and smooth surfaces.

I can't really see your pendant. You could bring it down lower if it's interesting or find a dramatic one.

If you are asking about the console table behind the sectional, I would not change that. I really like it!

As far as the TV wall, I would try to move the big plant to the right corner as much as possible. Something tall on the cabinet to the left of the TV, maybe a tall vase. Since the TV is centered on the cabinet, I don't think you need to add art to the wall. Add a few things to the coffee table too.

I appreciate all the comments from everyone, thank you for bringing me clarity on keeping the space clean and simple. I think I know where I'd like to go, which is to maybe add a table lamp or 2 on either side of the TV, and then fill spaces on the coffee table and cabinet judiciously with a few curated, unique pieces that speak to our family.

Boxerpal, all the clutter on the cabinetry under the TV will be cleared, and that stack of items on the right side by the walls are random blankets that we have accumulated... this will also be cleared away.

If you decide to go with a larger TV, consider a Frame TV. It's designed to display artwork when the TV isn't in use. This could give a nice pop of color that you may be looking to include.

My 2 cents. Your living room is furnished similar in my very modern MCM home. My accent chairs, similar, Room & Board black leather. i purchased a Samsung Frame TV & a teak frame to surround it. I love it. I also added a 3 to 4 foot high snake plant in a modern white planter, easy to care for. Perhaps add a larger modern vase or two to you console. Keep it simple.

I like it just the way it is not every sq inch of space needs something . You could do a bigger TV but for sure hung a bit lower , even the one you have.

If you add lamps to the TV area, add only one. I don't think that having symmetrical lamps make sense here. I agree with others. This space feels pretty complete and serene to me just as it is.

I would move the TV to the left. Start by centering it on the coffee table, and go from there until it looks right. Put one large item to the right of it. Either wall art, a plant etc. Symmetry is not your friend here.

I agree with those who say leave the wall alone. If you feel the need to do anything, just find some nice objects to put on the credenza and call it a day.

I personally wouldn't try to fill it. You could balance the large plant on the right with a slightly taller one to the left of your TV on the console, and that's it.

If you really want more, you could do sconces on each side of the TV (maybe the kind that does both uplight and down light). But this isn't the 80s, where walls had to be filled with flowers, plaques, and shelves. I think your room is lovely and airy the way it is. If you must put more on that wall, I'd keep it to mirrors or lights, bc they can add to the space without adding much visual "noise."
