What color should the columns be?

last year

We are planning to build a modern farmhouse. It is going to have black windows, doors & roof. We are doing horizontal vinyl lap siding in a dark taupe color. The fascia, soffit & gutters are going to be a lighter taupe color. The ceiling on the front porch is going to be the lighter taupe color. We have 4 square 8” columns across the front porch. should the columns be the lighter taupe or black?
