normally real wood against fake wood-like tile isn't the best look, but being that it's the bedrooms, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

This is the entrance to the master bedroom which has the carpet.

Here is a photo of what youre describing just the opposite. Wood floors through out the home with wood look tile in the bathrooms..

My advice, don't try to match the wood you place in the bedrooms with the tile color. Choose a completely different wood color that compliments the tones of your tile.

I believe wood flooring in bedrooms is an excellent choice, offering superior warmth and elegance compared to lighter wood-look tiles. Here are a few darker wood options that I think would provide a richer, more sophisticated look for your space.

You may find a wood-look tile that compliments your existing tile. I'd bring home samples and see how things look.

have you tried to find a tile that matches the other wood-look? what if you did a large format plain tile (say a 24x24") in the bedrooms? Or does it have to be real wood?

if it must be real wood, you could do a white oak w/a custom stain to match the tile. Or like Design mentioned, a dark wood floor. I'd prob do some type of large format tile and throw down a nice area rug.

I actually just thought of using a solid rectangular tile but a large square would look good too. I only thought of real because of the warmth it would bring to the rooms.
