Help picking out laminate countertop please?!

Hi! I’m designing my utility/laundry room. I’m will have a few cabinets next to my washer and I’m struggling to pick out a countertop. I’m going to go with laminate for this room. I’m hoping to find it at either Home Depot, Lowe’s or Menards.
My tile is a gray and my walls are Sherwin Williams Alabaster. I’m going to do wood cabinets stained like my sample piece. This is all under 3000k unnatural light but very soon I’ll be putting a full glass exterior door in this room to let some natural light in. I can also change the settings on my can lights if you think that’s needed? I tend to like a warm cozy feel.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Or could I at least be pointed in the right direction? Should I go warm, cool? Marble, granite look? I’m so lost!!! 😵‍💫 thank you

No I only sampled the piece. I was wondering the same thing. What do you think about something like this?

Oops sorry I accidentally deleted my previous comment. I like that colour better. Can you find a laminate with both warm and cool tones? What is your selection to choose from?

On the Wilsonart site, you can choose 2 colours and get the laminate that has those colours in it. For example, I put in gray and brown and got this as one example.

There’s a lot to choose from between the three stores. I tried going yesterday to compare it with my tile and paint but my kids made it impossible lol I’ll have to see if I can get a sitter while I try again. I’m just thrown off cause I always knew Alabaster to be a warm white. Not sure why it’s pulling cool especially with my warm lighting…😫

I would just get white cabinets. If that makes choosing the countertop easier, consider that. White never goes out of style.

Try Basalt Slate Laminate from Menards. I just installed it in this kitchen. It works well with cool white and warmer whites. This kitchen has Berh Polar bear cabinets and Berh Simply white walls.

When I was shopping for in stock laminate countertops I noticed Lowes had the best faux marble laminate options. Personally I chose not to go with a white laminate because I was concerned about stains. Stains may not be a concern if you are using in a laundry room...something to consider.

It's funny you mention Alabaster because IMO it can have a green cast and I can see it in your photos. It is tricky to coordinate actually so don't kick yourself. We've used it so I speak from experience : )

Your marble is nice. For lightbulbs, you want bright and white light to treat any clothing stains.
