Need to warm up this bathroom

last year

Looking for decorating ideas to warm up this space. Due to a series of mistakes, the colors don’t match and it feels very sterile. I can paint (not the wall with windows - it’s tiled), and change the rugs, but not sure what colors. Any suggestions that won’t break the bank. Thank you!!
Note: the space between the toilet and sink is about 2ft. I’ve been looking for a stand of some kind, but again not sure of design and/or color.

    Thank you!

I‘m all for monochromatic, so I find ypur space peaceful!

i agree with Chispa. Add rugs with color, but incoporate the color you have on the wall and floor. Another color can be added to them.

i hate ”pops of color” when a random solid color is thrown in for lack of something better..

Thank you! It’s a handicap accessible bathroom so without something to warm it up it feels very sterile. It’s just hard to find a color that matches the wall, floor and shower floor.

I would paint the walls blue, like in this picture

Put something on the windows even if just a valance at the top.

I thought the windows needed something too.

If the window wall is tiled, I would not be making any holes on it to install a valance in the shower area. Windows in wet areas don't need anything.

New colorful bath mats and towels.

    Large art left of mirror.

Beautiful orchid arrangement that picks up new colors in the room.

Thank you! Any suggestions on a color that would match? The tile on the shower floor was a mistake so it’s really hard to match. Its shades of browns/creams.

The Missoni brand I showed in my first post come in several different colors and patterns. Your floor is a neutral and lots of colors will work with it.

I made a few updates that have helped warm it up. Next, I think I’m going to paint the 1/2 wall under the shower glass. Any thoughts on these dark green choices? I’d like to tint the glass too, but not sure that will happen. It was supposed to tinted when it was installed, but the contractor ordered wrong.

The good news is your space is very neutral in color so the sky is the limit. When you say "warm it up," do you mean warm colors or just non-neutral? I love the green, but that is a cool tone and fairly dark. The colors you have selected have a low LRV. Some things to consider. Also you might check out one of those virtual painters (like on Sherwin Williams site) to get an idea of what colors would look like on each wall. Another option to add some visual interest might be wallpaper. Good luck to you!

Don’t pick any paints until you settle on the rugs! I am not a fan of the added furniture piece between the toilet and vanity. A nice wastebasket is fine.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions! Maybe warming’ it up is the wrong choice of words. I’m trying to make it more spa-like vs the current sterile/hospital-like. It was designed for accessibility (my son uses a wheelchair), but that doesn’t mean it needs to look medical.

I think the color of the little cabinet would be nice. The samples you have seem too dark. I wouldn’t just paint the pony wall. Paint the whole room.

Thanks! I’ll try some more samples. I can’t paint the whole room because the back wall is tile. Just looking to give it a little more dimension.

I saw that you have tile on the back wall. I meant the other walls.
