Non-plastic microwaveable food storage containers easy to use?

I looked at some glass containers, but the ones i have get blazing hot after heating the food and have no handles. So, you need to use pot holders and you are at constant risk of losing grip burning yourself plus breaking it when hits the floor.

Are there microwavable food storage containers of varying sizes that also have handles and that are not made of plastic?

We use Snapware, but yes, it gets hot and you need potholders. I don't imagine there are options where that's not true--that's why many people opt for plastic in the first place. We do also often transfer things on to plates or bowls, though, which seem to get less hot than the glass storage containers.

I use canning jars for most fridge storage . I can get pretty creative about storing different things in these jars. Of course the are not going into a microwave, but I love using the jars. They are easy to clean and all the lids fit all the jars.

Since I canned fewer tomatoes this year I have a lot of empty jars. As food storage containers got old I never replaced them with any of the like. I just use the jars.
