Taller, prettier shrubs under the left windows. If those are shutters on the window in the porch, get rid of them. Paint the door a fun color. Flowering plants edging the walkway. I like creeping or moss phlox. It's native to many parts of the US, pretty and close to evergreen. (It will brown slightly in dry, cold winter winds, if not covered with snow).

The cheapest way to get enough to line your walkway is from plugs. I like the Pollen Nation, they've always provided good quality plugs.
