Need Size Advice - Round Mirror / Medicine Cabinet

My vanity will be 36 inches wide. I'm purchasing a black round mirror/medicine cabinet combo to go over the vanity. What size is best? 24? 30?. Attached is the current (before pics) of the space which is being demolished in a couple of weeks to begin for the remodel and a pic of a round mirror.

Can you provide a picture that is head-on view?

You'll have to change the light above.

The smaller the mirror, the higher it has to be mounted above the sink so your full face and shoulders are in the mirror.

Everything in the before photo is being demolished. I plan on using a light bar fixture above the round mirror/medicine cabinet. The door is oversized and will be replaced, so taking a head-on photo is difficult. Here's another angle. Thank you.

I would do 30". We used 34" with a 42" vanity and it looks proportional. I think 24" will look too small.

30 any day of the week, gain a bit more storage in the cabinet too.

@BeverlyFLADeziner Thank you. What size mirror and light is in your mock-up of the design? Also, my guest bathroom is 40 sf. and right off the main hallway in my condo.

If your vanity is 36”, I pulled the mirror 3” in from each side

The vanity is IMO not going to fit it looks like the one you have is 24" maybe 30 "but you need to remember the center of the toilet to the vanity side has to be 15" so check that first . Waht door is oversized ??

@Patricia Colwell Consulting - The current vanity is 36" W x 31.5" H. It's being replaced with a vanity that is 36" W x 34.5" H. The toilet is new and will remain. It fits. The door is oversized and my contractor will shrink the door opening by reducing the size with a right hand swing. Because of the size of the current door, I can't get a good straigh-ahead photo.

What I recommend, is to cut out paper with the sizes of mirrors you are considering. Then tape them above your vanity to see which one works for you. Best of luck in your journey!

@kculbers Thanks. Unfortunately, the mirror was remomved duriing demolition, but my contractor helped me visualize it and select a size. Appreciate it.

@Nick I ended up ordering 28", but I might get a 24" just to be safe and return one. I was leasing 30" and you're absolutely correct. It was way too big for the size of the space. Appreciate your input.

@Nick Would you recommend the light bar match the width of the mirror or slightly longer?
