Since we're on a roll with great advice, moving on to my next challenge.

As part of my first floor remodel, I am updating a very small half bath. The plan is for a new Kraftmaid vanity cabinet - 21" W x 16" D that matches the cabinets in the nearby laundry and kitchen. I assumed white would be the smartest, as it would give me design flexibility and I think it may look the simplest and cleanest with the wainscoting I plan to add.

First off - for such a small counter surface - do I spend $400ish to match the quartz counter I will have in the kitchen and laundry? I hadn't even thought to do this - and I'm thinking not much of the countertop will even show once the sink is installed.

I also considered a pre-made vanity, but I feel like the cabinet quality won't be the same as Kraftmaid and the hardware will be cheap. I see those run around $500. I found one that's very close to one of the baths in my inspiration home (brown).

Regardless, I am struggling to find a sink - undermount or otherwise, that will fit my new vanity base Kraftmaid VSB211634. I also had a brilliant idea to switch to a wall mounted faucet - briefly got excited because it would show more of the countertop, looks sophisticated and give me more space for the sink itself. But I'm not inspired to spend $500 on the fixture alone not to mention the additional plumbing.

I do need the storage in this tiny bath and don't want a pedestal sink.

My current sink (note the 3 piece faucet). This cabinet is about 19" wide, and base of this sink is about 19.5" so I don't think it will fit on the new 21" cabinet...

All-in-one vanity - they do make these in a variety of styles in the right size (20" W x 16" D). Storage on this particular one is bad though!

Last but not least, the current state of my render for this half bath. I was going to have some fun with it! Looking at this view, I think having the wood color vanity makes it a little disjointed and the white is more appealing to me.
