need help sourcing a portable kitchen island

Hi everyone - this community has been so incredibly helpful. I found this mobile kitchen island on an online article describing great kitchen islands. (VQNU.com) I can't find it anywhere and their website has no contact information. It may be a custom built piece. Can anyone identify it, the designer or manufacturer, OR.....can you suggest other places I might find a piece like this? I am building an ADU and I want to retain flexibility in the space between the kitchen and the living room area. Cabinets in kitchen are custom painted.

Does it need to be exavtly like that for some reason? That company is in the UK but a good cabinet maker in the US or Canada could copy iy to be pretty close . I actaully have Ikeas stainless cabinets on casters in my kitchen with butchedr block counters we just used some stainless side panels for the back I have acatering biz and they are great to move right out of the kitchen when too many cooks are working . Talk to cabinet maker pretty sure this is not hard to do. Check out DeCasa

You're showing a wheeled island. An ADU isn't going to need daily movability, imo. Slidable could be enough for occasional reconfiguration. More options.

You need a custom cabinet maker. And about 8K.

If open to another look, sesrch Pintetest for mobile industrial island.

Agree about the wheels, seem like they could be a hazard? - I like the islands from Room & Board and Etsy has lots of custom options

It seems you could take any island cabinet(s), install them on a robust piece of wood (3/4” ply would be plenty) with locking casters. Ideally the cabinets would have separate toe kicks which you would omit.

An ADU is an accessory dwelling unit. I need not imply it is for the aged .....or mobility compromised!

Any decent cabinet maker can copy that exactly, and probably for no more than 4k depending your location. Buy the wheels.

Or show the kitchen plan for a better solution : )

You aren't seeing the details on that. It's frameless, and a decent in house laid up veneer. Gotta be reinforced with some internal steel to withstand moving around. Etc. And that external steel frame for the casters. Those aren't Harbor Freight casters either.

    It is all those things......

    and Clarifying "exactly" to "like"?

Thank you all for the answers and the ideas! To clarify, the flexibility is to retain furniture layout options for the future occupant. It may be my elderly mother, or one of my adult children in transition. It could be a renter as we live close to a large hospital. Or, my husband and I may live there and rent out our main house (3 BR, 2 B). There really isn't a lot of counter space in the kitchen and I was hoping to add counter space along with flexibility. Maybe wheels are not necessary, but a nice solid island. I really appreciate the discussion, and I love the piece made in the UK - I think it's beautiful.
