outdoor kitchen using commercial grade kitchen stainless

last year

We have recently built a great covered outdoor deck 25 by 14 ish . very well integrated with our Kitchen dining room. Waterfront property. I am hoping to use half of it as a simple outdoor kitchen and other half for dining. Hoping to use portable commerical kitchen stainless tables and sideboards. as counters and storage. use existing BBQ and add some outdoor portable burners etc. Anyone use the better grade stainless outdoors. 304? or other grade. THere are good sizes and options available .

my main question is not really design related i can post some ideas of where we might put the peices. I am thinking of using Stainless table or likely storage peices they come either 24 or 30 depth, counter height in 2/4/6/8 foot lengths. So not built in . water access will be from kitchen sink which we can use when passthrough is open. dont thinki need fridge. mainly prep and room to store things.

IMO get pieces that are made for exterior use, commercial kitchens are inside so made for that . There are great outdoor kitchen cabinets that do not have to be attached to anything .

I don't have an "outdoor kitchen", but I do cook outdoors as often or more than indoors as long as it isn't freezing (Pennsylvania, have not cooked outdoors since Thanksgiving - will resume when the forsythia blooms.)

I have a 48" square table, my outdoor grill, griddle and smoker. The smoker is having some issues (8 years old) and I am not replacing it. Got the griddle this past summer and it is the item I use most. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, hamburgers, veggies . . . Still like steaks, chicken, hot dogs, sausage, corn on the cob . . . on the grill. My sister gave her grill to one of her kids and just uses the griddle.

I keep my grill/griddle tools in Rubbermaid totes that store on the shelves under the grill and griddle and have a tub to put dirty items in to bring into the house to clean. An outdoor sink would be a huge plus.

The only things I brought in for the winter are my cleaning sprays - didn't know if they would freeze. I keep my oils and water bottles and spices in the house year round in a small handled tote. Feel better storing this stuff in a cool, dark space.
