Up to about $600. Would prefer less.

Am going to suggest these boho style chairs as they seem to have the same sort of vibe.

Yes, they do have a boho vibe, but look very uncomfortable. I'm in my 60's. I'd like chairs the are more substantial and comfortable for sitting for long periods of time. I'll also be moving them into the living room at times when I have guests.

Keep the chairs fairly plain,. You don't need to make a statement, since you have so much going on visually already. Prioritize comfort. Ivory/cream leather or faux leather upholstered chairs with cushioned seat and a supportive back and minimal curved arms would work. Measure carefully so chairs can be tucked under the table.

This style can also be pulled into the living room when you have company.

Here are two more shots of my space at different angles. You can see why the dining chairs will sometimes be useful when moved into living room area. So, I'd like them to be comfy enough to also use as accent chairs. I have a lot of leather and faux leather furniture. and, the browns (leather, and wood tones) vary. So, what material (fabric? leather?) and what color/undertone would you use for chairs? I've thought of: 1) basic black 2) custom matching the banquette bench deep red tone 3) brown leather (which brown, though?) 4) dark rust or rust brown 5) dark olive.....etc.

Your home is incredible. I'm usually on the minimalist side, but hooray for such an eclectic room! Still, you need comfortable chairs, hard to determine ahead of time if you have to go online. I love the shape of the following but wish they had wooden legs for your space. I'm not sure about ivory anymore now that I see so much brown leather. Hard to say.

For the top ones in my 2nd post, there's a Houzz link. Check manufacturer as well for any reviews. Also measure your current chair arm height and seat height since arms fit undertable top. This is assuming you feel current chairs are at the right height. Oh, and order upholstery samples.

Uh oh. I just noticed they're faux leather, not real leather. They're on Amazon for less. They do get good reviews, but customers also said they're faux leather.

Yes, read all the Amazon reviews of these chairs, mainly 5 stars, but they know they're faux leather. That wouldn't matter necessarily but when you already have acres of leather on your furniture, I'd be concerned that the chairs would look cheap or something. Here's how they look in a customer's home.

Check out Wayfair, and if you want real leather, put that into your search. I found a couple but Wayfair won't let me link photos.

I agree with you, Maureen, that Anthropologie chair is very pretty.

On the other hand, we all have different threshholds for maximalism versus calm, and my existing rugs kind of hit my sweet spot. But, it's nice to know there are so many options for color and pattern.

Just wanted to give you all my follow up. I bought these chairs on Facebook Marketplace and I'm quite please with the result. I plan to put them on casters, so that I can roll them into the living room when I have guests.
