You don't have room from drapery stack back as you mentioned so I would go with a solar shade. I had one on each slider for years but recently decided to get a motorized one and it is one shade over both doors. They do have to be hung on the trim. I have a wood valance over it to hide the roller.

What ‘function’ are you looking for? You seem to be in a nice private setting. Are you just looking to ‘dress’ the window, or do you need privacy, or light control, or?

Thanks for asking! I’m looking to dress the window but also would like to have privacy in the evenings. You can see directly in to my kitchen from the street behind me at night. The other function is I need to be able to get into the cabinets on the left side.

there looks like no space for inside mount, outside mount may get odd. try window film?
