What is the question ? The decor is not my style for sure and all the pnk says too girly for me but what are the things you love in the space ? Why are you painting ? I think the rug would be better in a bedroom but I really need a ton of info as to what you love and what you want to change.

Wall color could be sage green or dusty blue. Keep the rug you have since its complex pattern adds enormously to the room's overall impact.

Keep the roller shades. They are workhorses but can be rolled almost out of sight.

I would get more sheers so that they can cover the windows and soften the room if I get tired of looking at the other buildings but NOT blocking the light.

I like your current cream paint color. It's cozy and does a great job to soften the blueish light coming in through the window.

I would paint the ceiling color were the same as the walls, it gives a nice effect with the all-over paint color.

We use flat or matte wall and ceiling paint. Flat gives so much depth because te eye has no sheen on which to focus and the surface recedes nicely.

IRL, the walls are white with a tint of green and the ceiling paint is 50% green and 50 white.

I think we are on the same page.
