Help with Layout of oddly shaped Laundry/Pantry

We are going to remodel our very oddly shaped laundry/ pantry combo. I need help with the layout to maximize use of the space. Every wall is angled. We will buy a new washer and dryer so would love to hear if side by side or stackable is recommended. The current dryer vents in the wall but then goes under the floor out outside under our deck just below the existing sink.

will the W/D fit side by side in the alcove?

I would salvage all the cabinets, the sink is great under the window.

might get away with just cutting down the countertop... agree with ^ need measurements and a drawing.

Maybe a stacked system would be a better fit. then get the max out of your cabinets for storage building up. and make room for a pet.

For any idea on layout we all need a detailed floor plan showing all dimensions, doors and windows, vents, outlets, etc.

Ok. It’s such an odd shape it is hard to measure the angles. When I drew it the wall on the right side looks longer than the back wall but it’s not. I could fit a side by side but not with the existing cabinets how they are. The drawers on the underside of the cabinet wouldn’t be able to open. Since it is also our only pantry, having cabinets or shelves extend to the ceiling would be helpful. We also have no other place to keep our coffee machine. I’ve seen the appliance garages that look neat.

Maybe this idea can work for you with tall cabinets next to the stacked washer/dryer for adequate pantry storage. Tall wall cabinets on the opposite wall. Open space in the centre would make the room look larger rather than surrounded by cabinets.

Can you share a little about what isn’t working for you now, and how you want to use the space? Right now it appears to be an extension of the kitchen, with a washer and dryer thrown in because there was no place else for them. Do I spy a cat bed under the counter? Is there a litter box somewhere?

It’s a pretty space with pretty cabinets and a nice view! How do you use the storage now? Does it work for you? Would you like to continue that use, or do you need/want to do something different?

Can you confirm the width of the 2 drawer cabinets? Is the left one 17" wide? How wide are the long drawers?

Jennifer, are you still on here? I believe I have figured out your room dimensions. Curious about what your intent and desire is for your finished remodel. Can you/are you willing to move the washer & dryer hookups and venting? What is YOUR preference for the appliances? Are you happy with them stacked? What is behind the opened door? Any chance that is a closet that could be sacrificed to give you more room for considering side-by-side? We need a bit more information in order to help.
