Change out your toilet for an elongated style.

Can you show us the current flooring? Are you wanting to change the floors?

I’d start with a new vanity mirror. Something more decorative.

Maybe swap to gold hardware. But regardless I’d update the hardware to something less basic.

Vanity needs painting. Do you want to keep the black?

What color are the walls currently?

Sounds like the above picture isn't your actual tile. Please post a picture of what you presently have on the floor.

Randrom thoughts:

- The toilet is on the wrong wall /facing the wrong way, and that's ALL I can see. Moving a toilet stack is expensive, but I don't think this room will ever feel "right" unless the toilet is swung over to the wall with the grab bar.

- Add a frame to the mirror -- you'll be surprised how much difference that'll make.

- Painting the vanity might be a good idea -- without seeing the new flooring you've chosen, I can't say. I don't love black cabinets, but it might work with the white/gray you've used on the floor.

- We can't see the lighting, but that's a great way to bring in personality.

- I'm not loving that faucet. Can't really say why.

- The curtain is doing nothing for the room, especially as it's see-through.

- You're missing accessories altogether -- bath mats, artwork, towels will all bring color, texture and personality to the room.

- We definitely need to see the new flooring and paint if you want any real help. Several images, please, to include the shower.

Things that'll make no difference:

- Changing to a different toilet in this same position.

- Changing the vanity hardware. What you have is fine.

How can we know what the floor looks like and make recommendations on colors without context. Realistically the original bath pics don't help. Show how it is now if you want help.

So you want to repaint the walls, but are you keeping the new floor you installed? If so, then you need to post a pic with the new floor, or we can't give good advice on wall colors.

I'd paint the vanity. Get a new faucet, new hardware, and have a frame built around the mirror. Do you need any kind of window covering for privacy?

It would be great to see updated photos, especially of the new floors and paint it really helps when recommending color schemes or finishes! Are you leaning toward a lighter or moodier look overall?

Definitely agree with others that repainting the vanity and updating the hardware will make a huge difference. A framed mirror with some personality, maybe paired with wall sconces, could completely elevate the space. Swapping out the faucet would also help modernize the look.
