Hello everyone, i own a co living property / student accomodation in India. the property was built a year ago with no real intention to use it as a student accomodation. However, there’s a growing demand for the same and i’ve decided to convert it into a full fledged student building having around 24 private rooms and around 40 beds.

I’m looking to use casual and bold colour schemes in certain shared spaces (shared pantry, shared living area, stairways) without overdoing it. i’m also on a tight budget as I’ve spent a considerable amount on the construction, furnishing part and i still have a bit of work to finish.

im thinking of going with black and white checkered pvc flooring and a mustard/red wall

This is my current twin sharing setup which i feel lacks colour and looks like a typical student hostel which may not looking appealing to the GenZ. Any suggestions are welcome.

This area will be my shared pantry with a kitchen counter and a few appliances
