Does look weird?

I had LVP put in the entire house, except the bedrooms, when the house was built 6 years ago. The carpet is long overdue for a replacement. Unfortunately the LVP original to the house is no longer manufactured. As you can see the LVP, the picture in the middle, has a lot of variations in color. After visiting a number of different flooring companies I came home with a bunch of samples. The closest color match is the picture on the left. The downside is it only comes in a herringbone pattern. I would love any feedback or opinions on whether or not the herringbone would look weird in the primary bedroom. I have decided to use the flooring in the 3rd picture in the remaining bedrooms.

My thought is that I wouldn't mind a herringbone pattern in one bedroom if the floor style/color looked very similar to hallway flooring.

Not sure why you would then after that, choose a 3rd flooring, that doesn't look a close match.

However, sometimes we have to do what we have to do (for budgetary concerns), and maybe you can throw a rug down to mitigate the variation difference, which many will say is not ideal... but you can make that determination AFTER you purchase at least one whole box of each of the new flooring ideas and lay it out in person, and get multiple opinions.

Samples often do not reflect the actuality of what you receive. The sample is old, or outdated.

Samples are small and often do not show wide variation of colors between planks. So buy a whole box before you commit.

Another alternative is simply to replace the carpet with a high-quality new carpet. I would choose a variation of a cream color, as relief from all that gray. If it were me, I wouldn't want to increase the amount of gray flooring in the home, but that's a personal choice, and maybe it's exactly what you love. Carpet in bedrooms is very nice.
