Hello Houzz community!

I’m hoping to get a bit of advice as I work through a bathroom renovation. I’m looking for a 60" x 32" drop-in bathtub, and my architect initially recommended the Kohler K-1130-0 Underscore model. I went to see it in person and even tried lying in it, but unfortunately, I didn’t find it very comfortable.

Next, my architect suggested the MTI Undermount Soaker 60" x 31.5" (see picture), which looks great—but it’s quite a bit more expensive, and I haven’t been able to find a showroom in San Diego that has one on display.

Does anyone own either one of these tubs or have experience with one of them? Or do you have a favorite comfortable undermount tub you’d recommend? I really enjoy taking baths, so comfort is high on my list!
