Hi everyone, I have a small bathroom to remodel and I wanted to ask for your advice. I've attached two images, one of the bathroom and another more zoomed out. This is an en suite bathroom. It feels pretty small, and I wanted to get more vanity space.

There is a closet right next to the bathroom, but there is also another closet in this same room. The larger closet is about 7.5ft in length. The window is approximately 70x45in. The bathroom also has a window that is about 47x22in. There is one door that opens into the bathroom. And the shower door opens outward.

I was thinking of making the bathroom door open outward into the room. I feel it would work because I could position a cabinet/something along the wall in the room, and the door can stop at the cabinet. Additionally, an outward opening door can also give quick access to the cabinets right next to the bathroom. I'd rather not do a curtain or folding door or pocket door or barn door. What are your thoughts on the door?

Regarding the shower, I wanted to shift it over so that I can increase the size of the vanity. There is about 17inches from the center of the drain to the inner lip of the shower curb. Additionally, the closet behind it is about 29 inches deep. I will discuss w/my contractor, but how far can I really move the shower until I have to spend more money to cut into the concrete slab? I think 12 inches would work? I understand the drain will then be off-center, but the drain is already off-center. It would shrink the closet, which I am fine with, but I'm not sure what I would do with 17 inches of closet space depth. I guess it can be used for some cabinet-like storage?

For the vanity, I am thinking of doing a recessed medicine cabinet. Also I'm not sure if I can place shelving on the shower wall (to the left of the vanity). I'm not keen on putting shelves above the toilet because of aerosolization during flushing. I would do a floating vanity but I am short on space so I can't lift it off the floor too much. I am also thinking of having tile run floor to ceiling to help make it more spacious.

Lastly, I plan to install a bathroom exhaust vent. The window is currently a sliding window. I am leaning towards keeping a window that can be opened, but debating between sliding versus awning.
