Our electrician installed the 52-inch Minka Bellingham ceiling fan recently in a bedroom with a 12-foot vaulted ceiling. We followed the recommendations online and purchased a 3-foot downrod to ensure the fan was appropriately placed for optimal airflow.

Unfortunately, this is the second fan we’ve had to return—the first had a motor issue, and the second, while functional, produces virtually no noticeable airflow even on the highest setting. Unless you’re standing directly beneath it, you cannot feel the air movement. This defeats the primary purpose of installing a ceiling fan, which is to circulate and move air throughout the room.

Before proceeding with another purchase, I’d appreciate your guidance in identifying a fan model that:
• Is designed for vaulted ceilings
• Has a high CFM rating (5,000 or higher preferred)
• Has a blade pitch and motor strong enough to move air effectively in a bedroom with 12-ft ceilings
• Is compatible with a downrod and ideally comes with a reliable remote or wall control

If you have any recommendations for specific models or brands that are known for excellent performance in rooms with high ceilings, I’d greatly appreciate it. Would like to be in the $200-350 range.
