Posts are fine. What will the surface of the porch be? How will it be installed?

Nice idea. You need a cement slab for flooring.

Cement is being poured this weekend. Just need to give them depth of whatever tile/stone I’m going to put on top. So trying to make final decisions on material.

I would avoid a stone or anything that could present a tripping hazard. Stones with uneven surfaces, or surfaces that have large grout or mortar seams can cause tripping. This is one of my big issues now that I and my husband are old(er). A smooth tile or cement slab would be my preference.

Outdoor Porcelain tiles/pavers on top of the slab.

Make sure those posts are not set into the cement. They need to sit above the surface witha Simpson Post anhor or the like. The cannot come in contact with the cement or they will wick moisture and rot in short order. The porch normally would have been poured well before this.

They’re stucco posts .. I would assume that makes a difference
