To add what color warm walnut ? Thoughts

I agree all one type of flooring . As for color I would need a lot more info about your furniture, style etc. Not sure what species of wood you have no but you will want to get that same species of wood and then choose what you like in prefinished and have the rest redone to match or the other way around. I love walnut flooring but not all woos takes stain the same. Your flooring guy can certainly do a sample on the existing floor not on a sample board.

It’s a oak now with satin
As far as furniture we started fresh so will add after we get new floor and old ones redone.

I like either of those colors but usually prefer the one that looks best on a sample on your floor

Theres SO much death warmed over gray that just doing the floor a warm brown won’t be enough. The rest needs some major changes as well.

Yes, a medium brown will work, but the gray tile and carpet needs to be replaced with warm wood as well. Gray died a few years ago from precisely this overload syndrome. A minor bit is OK. More isn’t better though.

I wouldn’t change anything until you were going to change all of the flooring to be the same wood. Nothing remotely cool toned either. That means hiring the contractor that has the mill connection for the 2 1/2” red oak.

Well the grey tile is staying it’s only a few years old the wood floors will be redone and the grey carpet will be replaced w the same wood and stained at the same time
