update:tackling the worst first

As the warm weather abruptly comes to a halt in the northeast , I find myself thinking settling in for the season, reflecting on this past season, and already dreaming of tomorrow’s. This season in particular was very meaningful to me - it’s my first real
season of reestablishing my garden. Previous years had been really rough between having a lot of personal events, selling my old home, and saying goodbye to garden I was obsessed with and had been growing 8 full years. After a long road, and many many tears over saying goodbye to the greatest safe place, and most meaningful hobby, I’m finally starting to find that spark of joy come back.

I wanted to reflect on this very first year and share some of my happiest moments (roses) from this summer

That purple! Let us know if it stays that true a purple after it’s planted. Mine have all turned magenta-ish.

It would be hard for me to give up my garden too but a new start with more experience is also a good thing. Your roses are beautiful.
