the gallery wall is too random, and yes, too high, and you need to lean over the sofa to see the images.

Center the rug in the room.

Move the clock to the wall where the lamp is. (You see it on entering the house.)

Put the large sofa on the back "gallery" wall. with the long framed art above the sofa 8" -10" above the back of the sofa.

center the love seat on the windows, facing the windows where the large sofa is now. put the single chairs at the corner for a conversation area facing into the center of the space, with the blue table on the wall under the entry door light switch.

Open the door and center the TV between the open door and the end of the wall.

Mount the TV ON the wall Clear off the credenza (only the TV on the top, all the other clutter is distracting and messy)

Put the round table in front of the window with the plants on it.

Put the floor lamp where the clock is now. You asked.

Is this a door you use often? It looks like you might need more of a "foyer" area where bags, keys, shoes etc could go. I might think of moving the tv on either of the other walls and put the gallery wall where the tv is now. It would make a foyer/hall area and a living room area. You could move stuff around easily to see what layout you like best before committing to it.
