You can white wash the stone, though I don't think that's the best solution for this room. The wood paneling and stone work quite well together.

The lime green, .......... is so wrong. I would start there. Lime green reflects and makes everything green. Select a neutral white to replace all the green paint on the walls.

The room was a very, pale blue when we purchased the house and washed everything out… I’m thinking a light, vanilla. cream colour would work better. Unfortunately, the old, white popcorn ceilings would be too much messy work to change and pricey to oat a pro as the ceilings are very high!
