Wow, that light is massive! Is it staying? If so, light walls imo, as it's already dominating the space and can use any help it can to blend in more. If not, higher contrast could be fun.

I would Do light flooring and a mid tone color, But always light flooring in a low light room.

Haha I see! That makes more sense now, I noticed the shelves changing. In that case, I think you could get away with some interesting wall color if that's calling to you. I'm personally a fan of giving rooms individual personality even if the overall theme is something else.

I like the green better than the light neutral; it's more interesting. You can always paint the closet doors to match, or replace them with something else. IMO the light mock-up is blah. Personally, I'd go with the darker floor. The darker flooring color that AI generated for you is a terrific mid-toned brown; like an old favorite pair of blue jeans it goes with anything.

What flooring do you have in the rest of the house? Can you match the flooring and do a fun color on the walls?

It is hard to transition from one wood floor to a different wood floor or wood look LVP and have it look good. Transitioning from wood to tile, stone or LVT (non-wood look) is generally recommended.

I do love the green paint color, but I am concerned with how you plan to tie the flooring with the rest of the house.

I recommend tile for laundry room floor. Washing machines sometimes get “agitated” 😉, and move. It happened when I had high quality linoleum and wore a hole in the floor. When the W had a leak, water to the basement and elsewhere. Porcelain is tough and non-slip.

Consider tiles with a muted rust undertone, as the transition from the orangish hardwood will definitely look nicer (vs the clash of 2 stains/style). They will also be a more practical choice. You have a couple of weeks and if interested, pour over on line pictures to see what appeals to you . Get some tile samples and bring when choosing paint options and test in the room. Suggest painting the sliding doors the same color as wall (I really like the muted blue/grey, rust combo below).

I also feel the pendant is more suited to a hall, bedroom or dining room. Wait until room is finished, but I’d recommend another style.

I was thinking of color rather than material when I responded, but I agree tile is the way to go in a laundry room. A softly-colored charcoal slate would look nice against the other hardwood you have in the house, or a neutral mid-brown. You could add some subtle pizazz with a hex shape.
