Marmoleum -- for great room/kitchen/dining??

Hi -- We are in the last phase of a whole-home remodel. The style we are going for is contemporary/modern. We have a great room/kitchen dining area -- we want one consistent floor throughout -- about 1900 sq ft. We have been intrigued by marmoleum as a possibility. Our contractor is skeptical. We do have a local Forbo-certified installer. He recommended sheet/glue down. We see photos on the Forbo website and Instagram that show the look we want, but our contractor has us spooked. He feels we will see the seams given the large expanse of floor.

Has anyone got experience with Marmoleum in this kind of larger-scale residential use case? Would appreciate your advice/sharing your experience.

Thank you!

Cheryl
