Jan 13, 2025: Pipe busted; water ran for approximately 4 days. We were not home. Did major MAJOR damage! The company Erie (homeowners ins.) had sent to the house when the disaster first happened to dry things out and de-thaw (temps here were -12, -13), which took almost a week due to temps, and the house had 3" of water everywhere, corner to corner...the crawlspace under the house looked like a waterfall. The stress of this situation put my mom's Alzheimer's/dementia into high gear! On Jan 15, 2026, a year and 2 days later, after being in the house a few months, I swear the Mickey Mouse Club had Dumbo swinging a sledgehammer! The company that did the repair to my house did not pull any permits for electrical, no inspections, nothing! AEP (elec. co.) came out and informed me the main breaker was tripped and needed reset; that night the main breaker had tripped so many times it had started to get hot. The electricity kept cutting Mom's oxygen concentrator off, and it was a fire risk, so Mom, my 17 lb. house cat, and I went to a hotel to see what I could do to fix this situation. The next day I called a reputable contractor around here, and the electrical system needed to be upgraded and the breaker panel had to be relocated; total: $4,950. This was supposed to be a 1-day repair. The Feb 1, 2026, job was started, and the guy that first cut the hole in my wall didn't bother to look for a stud, either by pecking on a wall or using a stud finder, and made the hole IN MY KITCHEN WALL 2 times bigger than it needed to be. And now, March 4, the cover is still not on the panel, the hole that was cut in my wall is not repaired, there is a breaker tripping, and there are NO LABELS on any circuits in the panel!! I am having such a hard time here, and I need HELP PLEASE!!!
