Kitchen Faucet Recommendation?

last month

Can anyone recommend a sleek modern kitchen faucet with 2 handles and a sprayer (either on the side or built in) under $300? Or recommend reputable brands?

I'm thinking stainless steel, I hear black is hard to maintain?

If sleek is the plan why 2 handles at all. I had these in my last home , ran a cateriing biz from there no issue keeping black looking good . They had an awesome spray too and very sleek I had 2 back to back sinks . I like the fact even the spray button was hidden

Look at Chicago Faucets. Much sturdier than Moen or Delta.

I have a Glacier Bay Sadira single handle pull-down sprayer kitchen faucet. It comes in matte black as well as chrome, stainless steel, and brushed gold (color, not substance). If you have your heart set on two handles (hot and cold) this is not for you. If you don't mind it having the single mixer handle, I find it does the job nicely. The spray control works beautifully.

There is nothing fancy about it. That's actually one of the things I like about it. And you can get it for less than USD 100 (not counting tax and shipping, if any). It also comes in a touchless version, which I did not want.

Things to make sure of (for any faucet): Is there room for it behind your sink? Is it proportioned so that you and your sink cabinet won't get soaked every time you turn the faucet on?

^^^ These sound like no-brainer questions, but the proportion issue entirely escaped the previous owners of my apartment, so that I had to wear a water-proof apron, and mop up every time I washed dishes. And the "room for it" issue was solved for my new faucet only when I said to position the handle in front, and not on the side (I had to talk the builders into this).

Also, if you're left-handed, now is the time to make sure that what you choose works for you without your having to make too many personal adjustments.

We really are set on two handles.

    Ohh good point about porportions.

We actually have left handed kids suprisingly!

I'll look at Chicago faucets. I found a kraus one that was a bit over budget but manageable

Chicago Faucets makes products for commercial industry. I only saw one sprayer on their website (I may have missed others, of course), and that was the kind that sits off to the side. I wouldn't describe any of them as "sleek." Unless you want your faucet to look like it belongs in a laboratory or a doctor's office (which is fine if that's your thing), IMO CF is an odd choice of supplier for a home kitchen.
