Spanish farm house

Hello, we are living in the south of Spain. These windows are in the living room and contain also the main entrance. But this side has a wonderful sea view. So I want to enlarge the windows and get rid of the grids (therefore special glass against burgler). They can be fixed as I have sliding windows on the side for airation, too. But this thing with the entrance I don't have any idea. I prefere spanish country style door. Any ideas?

I've come to realize that fixed pane windows are never a good choice, especially that large. They cause a greenhouse effect where they allow heat to build up but there's nowhere for it to go. Operable windows allow cross ventilation, which I would think is a must-have in the warm climate of southern Spain. Get large sliding windows with no grilles (muntins) and leave them bare to maximize the view.

As for the door, are you wanting a new one? What does your house look like on the outside?

What are you asking for exactly? Front entrance decor or a different look to the door/window?

I have 2 sliding windows at each side so cross aerating no problem. Also through the door to backside.

My idea was more like this. My main wish is to get more view on the sea instead of blocking by wall and door.

I know you are considering new windows, but I would love to see a photo of the glass as it is. Are the grids wrought iron? I'd be inclined to keep them. If so you could choose a front door to coordinate. Open up the front door wall to accomodate a double door.

BTW, your tile floors are so beautiful.

Or, maybe take a road trip if any of these vendors are close to you and see what they have in the yard.

Beautiful house. The yellow is charming.

For the exterior paint the front entrance wall entirely the same shade of yellow as the roof. Will look bigger and inviting.

The metal grids will go so you might enjoy the view as the windows are currently once the grids are removed you would be surprised how much extra light and view you'll get.

Sit with it for a while before changing it up again.

Evidently, the wrought iron is there for several reasons:

Here's a visual of my suggestions for your new door with grids removed on the windows. I would replace the sconces for larger models. I'm showing jute rugs since the patio is covered.
