i'd prefer a glass doored cabinet same size as the one to right of window...are these recently painted cabinets.....its easy to source a wall cabinet w glass ready door frame and have it painted to match what youve done. something different at the end of a kitchen wall run as the space opens up can be nice / however with the bulkhead , I think. the floating shelves dont fit as much as another cabinet and theres a light to show off any good looking pieces you have.....glass door is the way to go . the tile is fine.

I would choose a cabinet over shelving. I wouldnt go past the bulk head. Its unfortunate that the bulkhead wasnt extended to line up with the counters, because it would have been a nicer look.
