This is front! Yes they painted vinyl too lol I wanted windows to stand out

I would not paint garage doors white. What about the front door color. Then just leave your windows white with the black shutters or paint them to match the doors .

You don't say if the windows are already in? Your getting to many colors going on red with the doors ,white windows , and black shutters them taupe on the molding. I think that if you put in white windows all your shutters should be taupe and then just let your garage door be red and the front door. Being fall now some burnt red mums here and there in your landscaping would bring the reddish color to the forefront and your windows won't stick out like a sore thumb but you must paint the shutters that taupe color of everything else they will just stick out to much if u leave the shutters black.

Actually white garage doors would look better then the beige color that they are now. It will look crisp and new and will match your windows.....

Sorry I messed up with my first comment. Paint shutters the taupe color. Then paint your garage door the front door color or leave the color they are and buy wrought iron hardware from lowes in the garage door isle and put that on. It adds character to the garage doors . Leave everything else taupe. Your screen door can stay white or paint it taupe to hide it a bit.

We just painted the shutters black ! They were a brown color and very faded. The new windows are not in yet. Trim around window will also be white. This is a before pic before painted front door and shutters

Somehow I got several thread on this ! Phone service is not great here ! You didn't see my comment about previous owners painted everything . All the vinyl trim , trim around windows and even garage doors. You can tell they have been painted so definitely will have to do something. We are still working on landscaping so I haven't plant anything yet . Everything was do grown up and they had mulched and mulched till it was so thick there was a vole problem and they were killing the bushes and plants . We have been landscaping with river rock and have not got to the front yet. I'm still wanting to get rid of more shrubs. They were so overgrown we had to literally take a chainsaw to them lol. So will probably wait till spring to plant anything new. Any suggestions you have for landscaping ill hear too. We do intend to cut the trees in front next to the house way back this fall.

I would not paint the garage doors white. I like it the way it It is. Maybe some Hardware on it to make it pop. I know you painted the shutters black but it's to much of a contrast with the starkness if the windows being white. I would re- paint them( Sorry) to the color of the garage doors now. You want the front of the house to (blend) and not pop out at you. Your roof if I remember is black. You could bring that color down with some big Black Pots on the porch and Black Mulch if you are going to put it back in next year. The tree in the middle of the house I would take down. Only because it looks like 3 trees straight across the front of your house. Now ... if you still wanted a third decorative tree there. What about putting it on the other side of the sidewalk so let's say your walking up towards the front door and all three trees are on your left take that middle one out and put it or another one on the right with some mulch and flowers underneath . So... as your walking to the front door on the sidewalk.... You pass one tree on the left, then you would pass the other one on your right, then the last one would be on your left again right before u get to the front door. I love your house and the taupe color and the front door color just work with all those colors with Black Mulch and Black/ rusty / copper Pots. Lol that all will bring the roof color down to street level and you don't have to do a lot if painting ( just re-paint the shutters. Sorry I know they are a pain in the butt. But you may like it better in the end.

The windows with the black shutters don't look stark white in this photo. If they are the old windows with black shutters this looks fine. If the white windows have not been put in yet I think you may have to paint the shutters taupe. I'm trying to go back to the many pics I see of your house. Hopefully I am making sense . Lol

The new ones have not been installed yet. We were trying to decide if we wanted to go with taupe or white around the windows. The people I stalling thought white would really bring them out more. That's what they suggested. My husband told me when he put shutters back up after I painted them he wouldn't be doing that again for a long time lol so the black I will have to work with lol. I do have some big pots I can paint black however .

I do like the wood garage doors but not in the budget right now

I do have a Japanese maple I need to plant somewhere .
