Our fridge leaked and ruined the hardwood flooring major damage. The restore place is saying they cannot match the flooring. Insurance is involved and is willing to help out. They are suggesting replacing the wood in the kitchen area with tile floors. I just think it will look odd and not flow. The hardwood continues through out the family room and down the halls. Any suggestions? I would like to replace the hard wood the a wide, darker wood.
