Cabin-ish. that's the 1st word coming to mind. it's very brown and has a heavy feel. the knotty cabinets and candle lighting contribute to the cabin impression. the upholstered stools seem out of place.

Weird!! Too much rustic & too much lighting.

I am surprised by some of the comments. I really like the lighting with the use of candles. The stools seem to be a little out of place. Not thrilled by the dining table & chairs. Other than that... I feel it is a winner.

I think it has too much wood, not enough contrast between flooring and cabinets....the overuse of candles is distracting...needs something to bring some life into it

The table and chairs are too small a set for the room. You can see how all the seats are touching under the table. Did you do that to make the space look bigger? The stools are neat looking, but don't seem appropriate for this kitchen. I agree there are too many candles. You should hire a professional stager to make some simple changes if this is your listing for sale. I would be interested to know if this is the staged home or the sellers furniture. Thanks.

Then I bet the word of the day is ''unsold''. Or, ''pricedrop''.

The word I would use is confused. I love the rustic look, but you can't have rustic and elegant all at the same time and have it look right. It's like wearing an evening gown and combat boots, or a burlap bag as a dress and stilettos.
