Hi......Take a look at BM Steep Cliff Gray for the body, and BM Harwood Putty for the trim.

my vote is for bluish-grey/ slate, not the bright blue pictured. Any decorative elements, shutters trim etc in much darker color, windows mostly white

You had four colours going on there if count brick as one colour. No wonder your eyes felt assaulted. Bring your main house colour up onto the porch so it doesn't look stuck on.

I am going to try the slate blue that @sam0705 suggested. That is the color I originally thought I was getting, but ended up with that terrible eye popping blue above. I have just forwarded that picture to my contractor. Thanks again for the help!!!!

The blue and tan was a horrible suggestion by my architect. I absolutely hate it. It is being changed asap. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

I live in Nashville Tn and there is a builder who is building homes similar to yours. Very old established neighborhood. Several have sold this last year with interesting color combos. Try going on Zillow and put in 37216 (zip) homes that sold/12 months. $250,000 price point. Key word New construction. Example below:) good Luck!

This is what I ended up with and I LOVE it!!!! This pic is a couple days old and it looks even better now with all the trim painted white and re-touched.
