My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Hi denajo, LoneStar Artisans is a custom woodworking shop, so I'd be happy to make one to any length you'd like. Aside from makore, wenge, and lacewood, we can also make them from walnut, maple, and mahogany. Just let us know if you'd like us to make you a one of a kind piece.

    Wenge is the closest to black. 28" would be around $200. We'd need to discuss where you'd want the screw holes. My smaller knife racks are 16" apart so that the screws can go into wall studs. For a 28" wide knife rack, it would definitely need to be anchored securely into the wall.
