My husband and I are about to move into a new house with a beautiful, bright living room. The living area wraps around the fireplace into the dining area and the room has large windows along one side.

We just purchased a new (huge) sectional that will be delivered after we move in (see attached image) - we ordered the left facing arrangement (opposite of the photo). We also have a rather large flatscreen TV (55 in) that will need to be placed somewhere across from the sofa.

We won't be able to go to the house until we move in (January) and the sectional will likely be delivered shortly after. The sofa measures 138"W x 95"D x 28"H. I have not taken measurements of the room. Also, we are renting so we aren't able to make major, permanent changes to the space.

My concerns:
1. I want to avoid blocking the windows as much as possible. I don't want the room to feel like a sports den (although my husband would love that).
2. My husband would prefer a direct line of sight to our TV which will likely have to go along the wall to the right of the window. Could the TV go anywhere else?
3. I'm starting to have buyers remorse regarding the size of the massive sofa. We can still adjust our order (it's backordered for a few weeks), but we got an amazing deal (Black Friday) and we would probably lose some value if we ordered a different sofa now. Also I'm not sure if another type of sectional would necessarily be much better - it's just an awkward room.

I know there is a way to make the sectional fit, but will it be in the way? And where should we place the TV? All ideas welcome!
