Is this 2cm or 3cm marble?

I love the marble! I've found a slab for my master bathroom but it's only 2 cm. I don't want to laminate the edge so I'm looking for examples of thinner counters that are still beautiful. Our fabricator keeps telling me that 2cm will look cheap. I'm not so sure of that.

    I've used both 2 cm and 3cm and I prefer the 2cm...although I worried myself crazy before the installation of the 2 cm slab. 2 cm lends a more furniture-like look to the piece, and I'm told it's routinely used in Europe, but I can't vouch for this.

    Oh and I forgot to say that IMO, 2cm looks much more elegant and much less clunky especially in a bathroom. I don't think you'll be sorry.

    This is 3cm. We tend to only use 2cm for backslashes unless it is capped like it is hear.

    Was this capped with additional marble? Considering a similar installation but I am using quartz. Also, how tall was this backsplash? 11 inches?
