So I am trying to do a budget-friendly kitchen for my condo. I can get a Maytag or Samsung microwave for about $250-360 that suits my needs. A Maytag, Samsung or Electrolux convection I could get for $460, $500, or $580.

Do you think the extra $200-400 more for the convection microwave oven be worth it?

Right now I already have a separate convection Electric Range/Oven combo. I live in Southern california where the summers are fairly warm. I had heard that it's nice to use the convection microwave for smaller dishes during the summer.

I was wondering what people think of the price or if convection microwaes are worth it
