Paint!! Too Many Choices!

I will be painting my entire house. Drywall is ready and primed. The problem is I can't pick a color! Kitchen, dining, and living are all one big space with a connecting hallway. Then there are 3 beds, 2 baths, and a laundry room.

Then house I'm in now is all one color (sort of BM Revere Pewter, maybe a smidge lighter). My husband would be delighted to have the new house all one color again, but I'd like something different.

Just to give you an idea, the kitchen will have black shaker style cabinets and an island of a different color (cream, maybe, mushroom??).

I'm drawn to sort of "beachy" colors. Not so much the brights, but the more subdued, even stormy colors. I'd like the great room and hallway to be the same color as there are no separating walls. I'd like it to have a cozy lived in feeling, but also feel bright and fresh. I've been looking at pale shades of bluish-gray colors, but have yet to find one I'm crazy about.

I did find a custom color match on Pinterest of Restoration Hardware's Silver Sage. Got it made, came home and painted a scrap piece of drywall. I've got to say, I'm not wild about it. It just seemed dull to me. Almost reminded me of a hospital.

I'd like the great room/hallway to be neutral enough that it will go with everything. I'd also like the other rooms to be a different color, but still flow with the rest of the house.

Am I asking for too much? Can anyone help, please?!
