Hi, nice view from the tub area. Need to try and narrow down the available options because there are so many. Not to mention styles. What are some of your needs and wants? Will this be a total renovation I.e. Gut the whole room, move walls and plumbing? Sometimes that gives the best result but obviously will cost more. There are lots of things I don't like about what is shown in the pictures. A quick sketch floor plan with some dimensions would be great for much better input here. Photo #1 the window over the tub is wonderful, this should never be hidden with a curtain. The window says: "relax in my tub and enhance your experience by looking out my zen window." The paint color is fighting the tile color and woodwork. The paint or wallpaper should be a soft tone (or stripe if wallpaper) as a background for this lovely setting. Pick out a light color from the tile and paint an area of the wall (or paint a piece of oaktag) and live with this color change for a while. I think I'd like a light paint or you could go a bit darker for the paint color, always choosing a color that is already in the tile.Photo #2, I am so happy the floor tile and the wall tile are the same. So often today different tiles are chosen for the floors and walls. These different tiles *can* look great together in a bathroom, but unfortunately they usually do not look great at all. Some will tell you to paint the cabinets. I say: do not paint the cabinets. The cabinets are the same as the window surround, door and door trim & towel holders and they all look gorgeous together. Plus wood cabinets are so easy to maintain: they do not show the dirt as readily, and if they get a nick they are easy to fill in & the nick is not noticeable at all. After you paint the walls, think of getting hew handles for the cabinets. A handle with some white to repeat the counter.
